A Long Swim Series Sponsorship Packages

Proceeds from all A Long Swim open water swimming events fund collaborative ALS research. A Long Swim’s fundraising goal is $100,000 through corporate sponsorships.

A Long Swim is hosting up to four events during the summer, including:

  • A Long Swim – Lake Zurich
  • A Long Swim – Three Oaks, Crystal Lake
  • A Long Swim – Tower Road Beach, Winnetka
  • A Long Swim – Chicago River, mid-September [Tentative; sponsorships for Chicago separate]

Presenting/Title Sponsor – $30,000 (1 Available)

  1. Name of event to be followed with sponsor’s name
  2. Ability to have an on-site tent at annual A Long Swim events
    1. A Long Swim personnel available to manage the tent
  3. 10 complimentary participant entries into all A Long Swim events
  4. An opportunity to have Doug McConnell speak to your corporate gathering about A Long Swim
    1. “Tides, Teams and Transactions; Managing Business Using Lessons from Marathon Swimming;” see Doug’s TEDx Talk

Corporate acknowledgement including:

  • Logo prominently displayed on all event merchandise and t-shirts for swimmers and volunteers
  • Name and Logo on all event signage
  • Company profile on A Long Swim website
  • Company name and logo included on media releases surrounding the event
  • Blog post on the A Long Swim website outlining the corporate partnership, to be sponsored to Facebook to an agreed upon target market
  • Opportunity for sponsor’s representative to speak during event ceremonies
  • Announcements, posts, tweets on social media channels, utilizing special, agree-upon hashtags

  1. Six complimentary participant entries into all A Long Swim events
  2. Ability to have an on-site tent at annual A Long Swim events

Peer to Peer Fundraising

Start a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign for A Long Swim and earn valuable incentives for triathlon and open water swimming gear, advanced coaching, and even transportation to and from races!
