Project description: 80,000 square foot new facility for the Chicago Theological Seminary, located on the University of Chicago campus. The project has been designed to conserve energy and water and has a significant green roof accessible to the building users.
Services provided: Sustainable design team leader accountable for the LEED Certification process beginning early in the project’s design phases through to the end of construction. Helen Kessler led the team through a charrette process to establish sustainability goals.
Results: Project has been designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
